Kensington home 

 

The brief for this project was to add mid-century style and character to this1950s terrace home for a busy working family living between Athens and London. The open-plan kitchen, dining and living room was modernised with the addition of accessories, furniture, lighting and artwork, drawing on a palette of rich, natural colours. Key pieces included a vintage 1960s sideboard, a classic 'String' desk fitting perfectly in a niche, two beautiful 1950s reupholstered armchairs, an artwork by John Hoyland and ceramics by Fornasetti and Pols Potten.
