Hampstead Home
Following the addition of a contemporary extension of this Edwardian property, the brief was to decorate and furnish the whole ground floor, bringing a modern look filled with colour to the heart of this North London family home. Glass-panelled doors in the were installed to borrow light from the hallway, a bold, striped stair carpet, a painted rail and hand-blown glass pendant brought a sense of fun to the entrance. Softer hues were introduced with new furniture positioned alongside existing pieces including a much-loved rug and an antique art-deco drinks cabinet. The open plan family room and dining area were decorated with a bold colour scheme; bespoke joinery, seating, soft furnishings and features including a ceramic plate wall and an oversize pendant were installed to reflect a playful nature and provide a welcoming entertaining space.
